A complete starter kit(the contents of the Starter Kit will vary depending on the class you registered for), a set of training manuals, hands on practice on a live model, a notebook, a pen, and your drink of choice from Dunkin or Starbucks. As well as on going mentorship.

Class hours are from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm EST for both the 1 day group trainings and the 2 day private trainings. Sometimes classes can run longer, depending on the number of questions our students have.

All of our In-class Training courses are divided into two portions. The first portion of the class is called the “Theory” portion where our trainer will cover all aspects of the history and techniques, various styles, product options, client consultation, medical consultation, hygiene, and marketing and walk you step by step through the real-world client experience. Each student is provided with a detailed training manual that will walk them through the theory portion of the class and allow them to take notes and perform several practice assignments. Each student keeps their training manual and is encouraged to reference this guide as they continue to practice after completing the class.

The second portion of the class is the “Hands-on” portion. In this portion, each student will be required to bring a model (look in the “Do I need to bring a model” section of the FAQ) who will be with you for the second part of the day. During the hands-on portion, all students will be provided with a supply kit to use in class that will include everything needed to start working on your model’s as well as their first 15-30 clients. Our trainer will help each student with one-on-one attention and consult each individually throughout the entire process.

Please be advised that every state has its unique regulations. In the state of Florida (where Damaluxe Beauty is located), you are not required to have a special eyelash extensions license however the Board of Cosmetology does require a Lash Artist to have one of the following state licenses: Facialist (Esthetician), Cosmetologist, Full Specialist or a Medical License (including RN).

After receiving the Damaluxe Beauty Certificate of Completion you will be required to obtain one of the state-regulated licenses stated above before you can work professionally in the state of Florida. The Damaluxe Beauty Certificate of Completion does not permit performing eyelash extensions professionally until one of the above-stated licenses is obtained. According to the Florida Department of Professional Regulations, a person can obtain a Facialist (Esthetician) license without a GED as long as they have reached the age of 16 years old.

As of 2023, the following states do not require any additional licensing to perform eyelash extension services: Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, and Wisconsin. If you reside in one of the 7 states listed above, upon completing your Certification Training with Damaluxe Beauty, you are ready to work professionally.

Yes, all students will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of our training.

Yes, we welcome students from all over the world! The only extra charge would be the international shipping cost for your starter kit, should you choose to have it mailed to you after training.

We understand that we all live very busy lives, and things can happen therefore our transfer policy is extremely simple. If for any reason you cannot attend your scheduled class, we will transfer you to the next scheduled group class, free of charge 1 time! If you are scheduled for a private training you can also reschedule your training date 1 time free of charge.

Not yet, but it is in the works and will be available to everyone very soon. However, in the meantime we do accept PayPal which offers their user 2 different interest-free payment options.

You are strongly encouraged to bring a model with you for the hands-on portion of the training. If you are unable to bring a model for whatever reason please let us know in advance and we will help you find one.

Yes. The minimum requirement to attend our training is 18.

Here are Damaluxe Beauty we understand that everyone’s learning style is different. Some learn by listening others are more hands on. But we believe that there is nothing more valuable in our profession (or possibly life) than time. While most of us are able to take a day off and dedicate to training, spending two days away from your job and asking your model to take a full day off for you might be challenging. Early on, we made a decision to incorporate each of our training courses into a single day for those with a busy schedule. We believe the required technical information and hands-on training does not require more than a day. However, we also offer a private 2 day training for those looking to be able to go deeper into their new found craft as well as learn to perfect it.

Well of course other than the obvious answer, one is private one is not. The main difference is that the private is a 2 day training and the group training an abbreviated version of the private. Great for those who are fast learners, those looking for a refresher course, or those who are just looking to learn a little more on the industry but not sure yet if it’s for them.

According to the rules of the Department of Regulations and the Board of Cosmetology, all classes are conducted in English. However, to serve our Spanish-speaking students, we have professionally translated Spanish Training Materials and documentation and even provides an ability for Spanish-speaking students to complete the Certification test in Spanish. This option is great for students who have difficulties understanding the English language and gives them a chance to receive all their information in Spanish. Please request “Spanish Documentation” during registration checkout and your instructor will have them ready for you on the class day.

De acuerdo con las reglas del departamento de regulaciones y la junta de cosmetología, todas las clases se imparten en inglés. Sin embargo, para atender a nuestros estudiantes que hablan español, Damaluxe Beauty ha traducido profesionalmente los Materiales de Capacitación en Español, Documentación e incluso ofrece una capacidad para que los estudiantes que hablan español completen el examen de Certificación en español. Esta opción es excelente para los estudiantes que tienen dificultades para entender el idioma inglés y les da la oportunidad de recibir toda su información en español. Solicite “Documentación en español” durante el proceso de registro y su instructor los tendrá listos para su clase.

Be sure to come well reseted with at least having slept 6 hours at night. Comfortable clothing as we will be at training all day. Eat a good hardy breakfast. Bring a refillable water bottle and warm sweater in case you get cold.
